  Mission:
To help children, youth, families and adults recover and grow from: child abuse and neglect, family violence, mental illness, grief and loss issues, anger management problems, school challenges, bullying, divorce, adoption, and other family transitions.

Values:
Strength based, non-judgmental, culturally competent, and family focused.  Individualized treatment plans are developed and driven by you.   AACC believes that we learn best when we are involved and active in the process of change.

Philosophy:
AACC believes that working with carefully screened animals can help enhance the therapeutic experience for children, youth and adults. Animals are great co-therapists as they provide positive opportunities for learning and unconditional acceptance. The human animal bond can help teach concepts of caring, empathy, compassion, self-control, responsibility, patience, and respect for self and others.

The Human-Animal Bond is Amazing!
AACC knows the best ways to incorporate the relaxing interaction with animals when dealing with various life stressors.
