Individual and Family Therapy Sessions

Is is AACC’s belief that youth and their families have the innate capacity and strengths to engage in effective problem solving.  AACC uses a variety of experiential therapies such as animal assisted therapy art therapy, play therapy, and outdoor recreation therapy.  AACC specializes in working with people who have experienced trauma.

Specialized Eight Week Animal Assisted Therapy Groups

We will be offering a variety of groups with subjects such as: bullying, social skills, self esteem, anger management, and parenting. Groups can be specialized to meet the needs of the client. Please call or email for pricing and group schedule.

Development and Consultation Services

AACC provides assistance in the development and implementation of specialized AAT programs in a variety of settings with diverse populations.  Fee for service to be determined based on need.  This may include assistance in securing funds and grant writing. 

WOOF Program

The WOOF Program is an eight week social skills curriculum that collaborates with various local shelter and rescue groups.  This unique AAT program is designed to target goals that include:

Improving interpersonal and relationship skills
Improve conflict resolution and pro-social skills
Improve self esteem and increase empathy 
Address the topic of bullying

AAT Trainings

AACC offers a four hour training on the basics of AAT and an eight hour training that covers more advanced AAT counseling techniques.  Call for available dates and pricing.
